College of Transportation Engineering has three undergraduate majors including Traffic Engineering, Traffic Transportation and Logistics Engineering. The following are the details of these majors:

Training Goals of Transportation Major

The Transportation major aims at training outstanding graduates with high level of humanities and social science literacy, sense of social responsibility, professional ethics, international perspective and experience of engineering practice. The graduates should master the scientific and economic knowledge required for transportation and management as well as the basic professional knowledge, theories and technology. The graduates should also have the abilities to apply the learned knowledge and skills to solve the problems in the engineering practice while considering the constraints of economy, environment, laws, regulations and safety and be competent to the planning and management job of rail transportation system and related areas. In the long run, the graduates need to obtain the soft skills such as innovation consciousness, lifelong learning ability, environment adapting ability and team-work spirit. It is expected that they will become the core of the company five years after graduation.

Training Goals of Logistic Engineering Major
The logistic engineering major aims at training outstanding graduates with high level of humanities and social science literacy, sense of social responsibility, professional ethics, international perspective and experience of engineering practice. The graduates should master the scientific and economic knowledge required for the logistic engineering and management as well as the basic professional knowledge, theories and technical methods. The graduates should also have the abilities to apply the learned knowledge and skills to solve the problems in the engineering practices while considering the constraints of economy, environment, laws, regulations and safety and be competent to the planning, design, management, consultation, research, education, investment and financial jobs in logistic engineering and related areas. In the long run, the graduates need to obtain the skills such as innovation consciousness, lifelong learning ability, environment adapting ability and team-work spirit. It is expected that they will become the core of the company five years after graduation.
