Team members:

Hao Li’s main research interests cover the Road Network Modeling, Dynamic Traffic Assignment (DTA) modeling, Travel Behavioral modeling, Traffic Demand Management (TDM) optimization, reliability, etc.

Dr. Jing Teng has been involved in the study and research of Intermodal transit system for about ten years. His major research areas include: scheduling, operation control, safety management.

Research interests

This team aims to establish the network modeling framework and methodology for multi-modal transport systems for both passenger and freight transport. A simulation-based platform will be developed for evaluations of transportation policies to support the decision making for the government. The expected outcomes from our research include: publishing eleven high-quality SCI articles and five domestic top-journal articles, nurturing one international graduate, getting funded by two national research projects and transforming 1 (or obtaining 1 international) patent of invention.

Background: Intermodal Transit System belonging to the Comprehensive Transportation System is the key element for developing urban public transport. Under the background of urban rail system operating on the network, how to coordinate URT and bus transit has the great meaning.

Research direction: Intermodal Transit System operation management

Achievement: Chaired or participated in ten natural projects, translated "Transit Capacity and Quality of Service Manual”, presented in international conferences many times.

Intended target: Improving the theory on Intermodal Transit System operation, Promoting industrialization of related achievements, aiming for Provincial and ministerial level awards.
