主讲内容简介

The presentation will show case some technology applications in the Las Vegas metropolitan area in improving traffic safety and efficiency. The Freeway & Arterial System of Transportation (FAST) is an agency that manages both the freeway and arterial systems in the Las Vegas area. FAST is very proactive in pilot testing and adopting emerging technologies in improving traffic safety and system efficiency for the region. Applications that are already in place include automated traffic signal performance measures, connected signals, and WayCare. Data collected from such systems are being used by FAST engineers, and several case studies will be presented.
