主讲人简介:
Dominique Gruyer holds a Ph.D. in "Systems Control" from UTC (France) and an HDR in "Automatic Control" from UEVE. He is a Research Director at IFSTTAR and Université Gustave Eiffel, currently leading the PICS-L lab, focusing on embedded perception, data fusion, and uncertainty theories in autonomous vehicles. He has published over 250 papers and participated in 40+ international projects.
Andry Rakotonirainy is an expert in road safety and ITS with over 25 years of experience. He has published 300+ papers, with one cited over 1,080 times, and secured 14 competitive ARC grants, contributing significantly to road safety and ITS.
Mahdi Zargayouna holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and AI. He is a Senior Researcher at Université Gustave Eiffel and Deputy Director of the GRETTIA Laboratory, leading the International M.Sc. program in Smart Systems. His research focuses on multi-agent systems and dynamic transport applications, with 70+ publications.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping the transportation landscape, particularly in the domains of autonomous vehicles, intelligent traffic management, and smart city systems. Advanced AI models, especially large-scale ones, are driving improvements in traffic optimization, safety enhancement, and vehicle automation, ultimately promoting greater efficiency and sustainability in mobility.
This presentation explores the integration of AI into automated driving systems (ADS), with a particular focus on the evaluation of AI-driven functions in controlled environments. It illustrates how real-world driving conditions can be systematically modeled and incorporated into simulation-based testing frameworks, enabling a progressive validation process—from small-scale experiments to comprehensive real-world deployment—ensuring the reliability, safety, and readiness of AI systems for practical application.
