主讲人简介：

Yahor M. Zhukouski is Vice Dean of the Faculty of Transport Communications at BNTU, a civil engineer specialising in pavement engineering, road materials, and sustainable technologies. He is the author of more than 80 scientific papers, including publications in Q1/Q2 journals, and holds three patents. He is a laureate of the President’s Award of the Republic of Belarus.

主讲内容简介：

The lecture will provide an overview of the current state of road construction in Belarus and identify the main prospects for its development. The speaker will talk about the key characteristics of the country’s road network, its role in the transport system, and Belarus’s importance as a transit link between Europe and Asia. Modern approaches to pavement design, the use of innovative materials (including secondary resources), as well as energy‑efficient and environmentally friendly technologies will be discussed. The final part of the lecture will focus on promising directions: digital transformation of road infrastructure, sustainable development, and the preparation of new research and educational initiatives. The lecture will be of interest to students, postgraduates, lecturers, and specialists in transport engineering.
