主讲人：Samer M Madanat
                

主讲人简介：Samer M Madanat is the Xenel Distinguished Professor of Engineering and Chair of the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the University of California at Berkeley. From 2005 to 2014, he served as the Director of the Institute of Transportation Studies. He received a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Jordan in 1986, and a M.S and Ph.D. in Transportation Systems from MIT in 1988 and 1991 respectively.

研究方向：Transportation Infrastructure Management, with an emphasis on modeling facility performance and the development of optimal management policies under uncertainty, as well as transportation sustainability.
