主讲人简介：
杨海博士现任香港科技大学土木环境工程系讲座教授 (Chair Professor)、博士生导师。杨海教授1985年毕业于武汉水利电力大学(现武汉大学)水利建筑工程系，1985年以优异成绩考取国家教育部公派出国留学生。1986年在大连外国语大学经过短暂日语培训之后留学日本，并于1989及1992年获得日本京都大学交通运输工程系硕士和博士学位，曾经在美国加州大学和加拿大滑铁卢大学从事博士后研究工作。1993年应聘来香港科技大学任教、工作至今。
杨海教授是国际交通运输领域的知名学者，在交通运输系统分析、建模与优化前沿工作近三十年、成果显著。有280多篇论文被SCI/SSCI检索，其中大多数论文发表在国际顶级期刊 TransportationResearch, Transportation Science 及 Operations Research 上。其论文被引用12,000 (SCI) 及24,500（google scholar）余次，SCI H指数值63，各项数据均在国际交通运输学界名列前茅。所获荣誉包括：1991年日本土木工程师学会杰出论文奖、国家杰出青年科学基金(B类)（2004年中国国家自然科学基金委员会授予）、国家自然科学奖（2011年中华人民共和国国务院授予）、香港科技大学工程学院杰出研究奖（2012年）、2020 Frank M. Masters Transportation Engineering Award, AmericanSociety of Civil Engineers以及 2021 Francis C. TurnerAward, American Society of Civil Engineers。
杨海教授曾担任多个国际交通会议组委会以及多个交通研究专业委员会的成员、中国系统工程学会理事等、北京航空航天大学及同济大学等客座教授，清华大学及北京交通大学客座讲席教授。2012年被国家教育部聘为北京航空航天大学“长江学者”讲座教授。国际交通及运输理论大会(ISTTT)国际顾问委员会永久委员。
杨海教授已培养出一批优秀硕士生和博士生、可谓桃李满天下。其中绝大多数博士生目前均在国内外知名大学（新加坡国立大学、美国南德克萨斯大学、澳大利亞新南威尔士、加拿大温莎大学、英国利兹大学、利物浦大学，中国内地的上海同济大学、上海交通大学、南京大学、大连海事大学、北京航空航天大学、西南财经大学，以及中国香港的香港大学）担任助理教授、副教授或教授，从事各种教学和研究工作。
目前，杨海教授担任多份国际学术期刊的编委。他于2013至2018年间担任国际交通运输领域最具权威和认可度最高的学术期刊—Transportation Research Part B: Methodological—的总编辑（是该期刊自1967年创刊以来的第三任主编）, 现在是该期刊的杰出（荣誉）编委。
主讲内容简介：
Urban mobility has undergone drastic changes in recent years with theintroduction of application-based taxi and car service e-hailing systems. Thesesystems provide timely and convenient on-demand ride services to anyone,anywhere and anytime. E-hailing is now prevalent in the traditional taxiindustry by effectively mitigating information asymmetry and uncertaintybetween customers and taxi drivers; E-hailing in the form of ride-sourcing canefficiently match a requesting customer with an affiliated private car drivernearby for on-demand ride services. This talk highlights some emerging researchissues and latest developments in ride-sourcing markets, including demandforecasting; surge-pricing; matching, pricing and ride-pooling, jointoptimization of matching time interval and matching radius; customers’ maximumwillingness to wait with sunk waiting time; optimal resource allocation withbundled options of choice; impact of ride-pooling on traffic congestion;competition and third-party platform-integration; Pareto-efficient marketregulations; and analysis of human mobility and network property with big cartrajectory data.
