主讲人简介：

Dr. Nan Zheng is a Senior Lecturer (equivalent to Associate Professor in European/American systems) of Civil Engineering at Monash University. He is an internationally-recognised researcher in the area of traffic flow modelling and control theory, autonomous vehicle systems, and data-driven approaches for transport studies. Dr. Zheng obtained PhD degree at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne (EPFL, 2010-2014). Dr. Zheng was an Associate Professor (2016-2018) at the School of Transportation Engineering and Technology, Beihang University, and a post-doc at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich (ETHZ, 2014-2016).

主讲内容简介：

Since 2010, one focused research is to apply novel traffic flow modeling concept into transport network design, demand management policies, and real-time traffic monitoring and control of large-scale road networks. This presentation presents a recent research work on congestion pricing which is based on macroscopic traffic flow modeling and multi-region traffic flow management. The presentation will also provide an overview of a series of foundation works on network-level congestion pricing.
