Dr. Wenjun ZHU was born in Nov. 1984. At present, he is an associate professor at the college of Transportation Engineering, Tongji University. He had been a lecturer at the school of Civil Engineering, Beijing Jiaotong University for over four years before Tongji University. He was also engaged into the school of Civil Engineering, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University for one year as a post-doctor. His research interests mainly focus on the durability of the reinforced concrete in chloride environment, the initiation and propagation of the cracking of the concrete in the condition of chloride ions and the train loads, the influence of cracking on the performance of the track structures. Dr. ZHU is also the invited reviewer of several top journals in the relative fields, including Corrosion Science, Composites Part B: Engineering, Construction and Building Materials, Engineering Structures, International Journal of Concrete Structures and Materials, Structure and Infrastructure Engineering, Advances in Structural Engineering, ACI Materials Journal.
