Biography
Gong Quanmei, female, the Han nationality, born in October 1967, Rushan, Shandong Province. Prof. Gong has got a doctor of Engineering in 1995. Now she is a doctoral supervisor in Tongji University. The main research areas of Prof. Gong are traffic engineering and civil engineering. The research directions are system dynamics of line engineering, design theory and construction technology of rail transit structure.

Research interests
Prof. Gong is the principal investigator of two grants of National Natural Science Foundation of China, one grant of the Specialized Research Fund for the Doctoral Program of Higher Education, one grant of Natural Science Foundation of Shanghai and two grants of Ministry of Railway. Prof. Gong is also the collaborator of two grants of National “863” Project and two grants of Scientific development plan of Ministry of Railway. Prof. Gong has been in charge of researches and consulting programs of government, scientific research institutions, enterprises more than thirty. Prof. Gong is the chief editor of one book, and participates in writing three books. In the last five years, Prof. Gong has obtained eleven patents.

Research interests
Prof. Gong is the principal investigator of two grants of National Natural Science Foundation of China, one grant of the Specialized Research Fund for the Doctoral Program of Higher Education, one grant of Natural Science Foundation of Shanghai and two grants of Ministry of Railway. Prof. Gong is also the collaborator of two grants of National “863” Project and two grants of Scientific development plan of Ministry of Railway. Prof. Gong has been in charge of researches and consulting programs of government, scientific research institutions, enterprises more than thirty. Prof. Gong is the chief editor of one book, and participates in writing three books. In the last five years, Prof. Gong has obtained eleven patents.
