Professor Hui Li is a doctoral supervisor in the Department of Road and Airport Engineering. He is a National Overseas High-Level Talent and has been recognized as one of the top 2% of scientists in the world. His research interests include the sustainability, resilience, and intelligence of transportation infrastructure. He has presided over three national key research and development plans and has led more than 10 national, provincial, and ministerial-level scientific research projects, including those funded by the Natural Science Foundation and the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, etc. Professor Hui Li has published 120 high-level papers, including 65 SCI papers, which have amassed a total of 3,585 citations. His one paper has been cited 344 times. He has edited four local and group technical standards and published three academic monographs, one of which is in English. Additionally, he has applied for and been granted 20 patents, including international ones, and has received five provincial and ministerial-level awards. Professor Hui Li serves as the young communications expert for the Chinese Academy of Engineering Journal Engineering, as well as the deputy editor and editorial board member for various journals such as IJTST and TRD. He is also a member of several renowned international academic committees, including the ACI and TRB.
