Dr. Jing Teng is currently a professor at the School of Transportation Engineering of Tongji University. He has involved in the study and research of public transportation system for about ten years. His major research areas include: transit scheduling, transit operation control, intermodal transit system coordination and Advanced Public Transportation System (APTS). Dr. Teng is a member of Science and Technology Committee of Shanghai Transport, Port and Shipping, a distinguished research fellow of China Intelligent urbanization co-creation center for high density region, and a member of the Transportation Research Board (TRB). He is a paper reviewer for many academic journals including Transportation Research Record, Transportation Research Part A, China Journal of Highway and Transport, Systems engineering theory & Practice, and etc. Dr. Teng worked as a research assistant in Department of Civil Engineering, Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2002, and visited University of Waterloo as a visiting scholar sponsored by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) in 2011.
