Dr. Yujing Zheng is currently an associate professor at the College of Transportation, Tongji University. His research focuses on autonomous port drayage operations, multimodal transportation network optimization, and AI-enabled logistics scheduling, with particular attention to key theoretical and engineering issues in the collaborative operation of internal and external container trucks, charging and battery-swapping scheduling for electric trucks, and logistics system control and decision-making.

In recent years, he has published over 30 SCI/SSCI/EI-indexed papers in leading journals such as Transportation Research Part E, Applied Energy, Computers & Operations Research, and Transport Policy, obtained more than 10 granted patents. His research outcomes have been applied in practical scenarios such as Shanghai Yangshan Port and Waigaoqiao Port, supporting improvements in port drayage efficiency, the large-scale operation of autonomous container trucks, and the development of smart and green ports.
