The main research areas of Dr. Ling Wang are active traffic control, traffic safety, and big data analysis. She have published several papers in Accident Analysis and Prevention, Transportation Research Part C, etc. Meanwhile, she got the Best Paper Award in World Conference on Transport Research and Best Young Researcher Award of TRB twice. Furthermore, she has severed as reviewers for eight journals or international conferences.
