Currently, he is the director of the Key Laboratory of Maglev Technology in the Railway Industry, a member of the executive committee of the International Conference Maglev System and Linear Drive, and an expert with special government allowances from the State Council. He has served as the deputy leader of the general group for the State 863 "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" of Maglev Special Project and as an expert in the field of transportation for the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" of the State 863 Project. He has led the development of China's first high-speed maglev experimental model vehicle and the first domestically produced high-speed maglev model vehicle for engineering; he has also led the development of lightweight model vehicles for the Shanghai Lingang medium- and low-speed maglev experimental line. He has led the compilation of national standards such as "General Technical Conditions for High-Speed Maglev Transportation Vehicles" and "High-Speed Maglev Transportation Design Specifications" by the Ministry of Housing and UrbanRural Development.
